Elliot Harvey Atkin (December 18, 1942 - July 18, 2017) was a Canadian actor and voice artist, best known for his roles as Morty Melnick in Meatballs, Sgt. Ronald Coleman in Cagney & Lacey, and King Koopa in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!.

Death[]
Harvey (aged 74) died of a brain tumor on July 18, 2017.[1] He was buried in The Pardes Shalom Cemetery in Maples, Ontario.
On August 29 of the same year, a team of 227 animators (led by Andrew Dickman) re-created an episode from The Super Mario Bros. Show! as a memorial to both Harvey and his cast-mate, Tony Rosato (voice of Luigi, who died that same year).[2]
