Skull Boy is a young skeleton. A man of many talents, Skull Boy is the mansion's official jack-of-all-trades. From filmmaking to painting, cooking to cavern exploring, robotics to private investigating, Skull Boy can pretty much do it all. His only problem is that he can't seem to find one thing and stick to it for any serious length of time. But if Skull Boy doesn't know where he's going, it's mostly because he doesn't know where he's been. Skull Boy longs to know who his family is and who his ancestors were.

Relationship with Ruby[]

Main article: Ruby and Skull Boy's relationship

While Ruby's crush on Skull Boy is implied in many episodes, Skull Boy seems oblivious to her feelings. She nearly tells him in "Sunny Daze", and he approaches her in the end still curious as to what she wanted to tell him. There are also at least two paintings of Ruby seen in Skull Boy's room (presumably ones he made himself). They also appear to be the closest out of everyone else in the manor (apart from Frank and Len who literally share the same body), as they usually have pair roles when Skull Boy takes on a new role he think he's a descendant of (Doctor/Nurse, Mad Scientist/Assistant, Duo Detective, etc). They also have similar personalities- While Iris is all about adventure and extreme, Misery is doom and gloom, Poe is etiquette and proper, Scaredy Bat is terrified of everything, and Frank and Len care mainly about music, Skull Boy and Ruby are usually the most level-headed in the manor, remaining the most positive, but still seeing the possible drawbacks.

Trivia[]

  • Skull Boy's signature dance is freeze frames.
  • In the original merchandise, Skull Boy was a human who wore a skull mask due to shyness.
  • As seen in “Lucky Me,” Skull Boy has a pair of fingerless gloves that he specifically wears with his pajamas. They are red, as opposed to his black “daytime” gloves.

Episode appearances[]

Skull Boy appears in 39 of the 40 episodes of the series. He is only absent from the episode "Tooth or Dare".
