While Ruby's crush on him is confirmed in many episodes, Skull Boy is oblivious to her crush, but its heavily implied he returns her feelings. She nearly tells him in "Sunny Daze", and he approaches her in the end still curious as to what she wanted to tell him. There are also at least two paintings of Ruby seen in Skull Boy's room (presumably ones he made himself). They also appear to be the closest out of everyone else in the manor (apart from Frank and Len who literally share the same body), as they usually have pair roles when Skull Boy takes on a new role he think he's a descendant of (Doctor/Nurse, Mad Scientist/Assistant, Duo Detective, etc). They also have similar personalities- While Iris is all about adventure and extreme, Misery is doom and gloom, Poe is etiquette and proper, Scardey Bat is terrified of everything, and Frank and Len care mainly about music, Skull Boy and Ruby are usually the most level-headed of the manor, remaining the most positive, but still seeing the possible drawbacks.
