His only problem is that he can't seem to find one thing and stick to it for any serious length of time. For example, in one episode, Skull Boy goes up to Ruby to ask her an important question, but it turns out he was just asking her to turn his book's pages as he was playing. Another time that would show this would be while doing the play that Poe is directing, Basil and Rosemary, Skull Boy was nervous and blushing when Poe wanted him to show more affection to 'Rosemary', played by Ruby. Skull Boy also shows some affection for Ruby. For example, in one episode, Skull Boy is convinced that he is related to a long line of detectives and runs up to Ruby, giving her a hug, chanting, "Oh, Ruby, thank goodness you're OK!"

There are also at least two paintings of Ruby seen in Skull Boy's room (presumably ones he made himself). They also appear to be the closest out of everyone else in the manor (apart from Frank and Len who literally share the same body), as they usually have pair roles when Skull Boy takes on a new role he think he's a descendant of (Doctor/Nurse, Mad Scientist/Assistant, Duo Detective, etc). They also have similar personalities- While Iris is all about adventure and extreme, Misery is doom and gloom, Poe is etiquette and proper, Scaredy Bat is terrified of everything, and Frank and Len care mainly about music, Skull Boy and Ruby are usually the most level-headed in the manor, remaining the most positive, but still seeing the possible drawbacks.
