"Time Flies" is the 16th episode of Ruby Gloom. It originally aired on YTV on April 15, 2007, and was written by John van Bruggen.
Synopsis[]
Skull Boy and Poe use a time machine to travel back in time to find Skull Boy's ancestors. Instead, they meet Paco, Edgar Allan Poe's pet budgie and Poe's ancestor. They take Paco back with them to their time and Poe starts to have fun with him. But then, Ruby and Skull Boy find out that if they don't send Paco back to his time, Poe will cease to exist.

Scaredy Bat reviews the nursery rhyme "Jack and Jill".

Doom Kitty stars in a movie where she must save a flock of sheep from being hit by a train.
Trivia[]
- Iris, Frank, and Len are all absent in this episode.
- In this episode, they show the sequel to the Doom Kitty sketch, "My movie hero". The first one was in the episode "Iris Springs Eternal".
- This is the second time we see Scaredy Bat's Nursery Rhyme Review segment since the episode "Science Fair or Foul". In this episode, Scaredy reviews "Jack & Jill", while in the other episode, he reviewed "Old Mother Hubbard".
- Three of Misery's ancestors appear in this episode. The first two would later be known as Mayhem and Migraine, while the third one (Edgar Allen Poe's maid) goes unnamed. All three would later reappear in the episode "I'll Be Home For Misery" as Misery's cousins.
